The flow of Administration of this Local Government starts from the Chairman/Caretaker Chairman to the Head of Local Government Administration through the Director of Administration & Generals Services to the Entire Staffs’.

The Local Government operates presently in line with the laid down “Scheme of Service”. The chairman is the overall head and next to him is the Secretary to the local Government, followed by Caretaker members, the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), followed by the Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) and other Departmental heads being assisted by their Deputies for smooth running of day to day activities. Also, there are various units under the headship of each unit heads.

Moreover, the Local Government acts on the instructions and official directives of the ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters and Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.

 Lagelu Local Government operates under the staff strength of about 323 before Local Council Development Areas were carved out, but now runs about 121 numbers of staff.
